Site SEO Audit
To SEO a website, you need to do two things: optimize the website and gain links to it from other websites. An SEO site audit reviews the strengths and weaknesses of a website.
It’s much like the ‘internal’ part of a SWOT business analysis, which looks for the Strengths and Weaknesses in a business. (Gaining links considers the Opportunities and Threats based on competitive analysis.)
My SEO audit report covers these points:
- Text: Are the right keywords in the right places on the page?
- Navigation: Does the navigation use keywords? And does it organize the content appropriately?
- Code: Does the site’s technology work well with search engines’ technology?
- Recommendations: What fixes are needed, and what is great as is?
There are a couple of ways my SEO audits and reviews add value:
- Ease of implementation and estimated impact are given alongside recommendations. You can take action accordingle.
- Explain when issues also affect users, and thus impact sales.
The scope of any audit I do is based on your goals and ability to implement, so I discuss these with clients beforehand.
This also means that the price of every audit varies, according to the needs and goals of the client.
