Gabriel, Though I've been hearing bits and pieces regarding the difficulties in the Middle East over the past few days, I honestly haven't put in enough time to grasp the true scope of it, let alone take in enough information to form an intelligent opinion either way. I am, however, once again infuriated at YouTube's (Google's) policy on takedowns and their hiding behind the marketing hype of avoiding all litigation. There's no excuse in the world as far as I'm concerned, to justify the removal of the video. It's all about Google being in bed with other big business, while stepping on freedom of speech and openness. The fact that they'd also initially taken down the IDF content, and only restored it after fury rose, just makes this that much more of a problem as far as seeing Google/YouTube management in any kind of neutral party role. I sincerely hope Latma is able to get the video back online in a substantive and openly accessible manner.

2. Alan, you're right on the money. I'd emphasize that their haste at complying with such frivolous requests and past history shows they're rooting for one side, and that's a good reason not to trust their search.
