Love you work. I’ve heard lots lately about guest posting on other people’s blogs. I take it that you:

A. need to have an established blog of your own.

B. Have some expertise in your knowledge area
C. Form a decent relationship with other bloggers in your field.

I need to get in on this guest posting gig.

Really nice presentation Gab. Guest posting can definitely require more skill/domain expertise, but as you mention for someone with the ability to create a guest post it’s a MUCH more leveraged way of promoting a Website than link begging. I like the focus here on repeatability, and there are so many nice pieces that fall out of the relationships you build and content you create (branding, thought leadership, biz dev opportunities, etc.)

It is true that link building is repetitive. However, if it is done correctly, it will engender the results that you want. Having a distinct protocol like Search Engine Optimisation Wales can make this happen. Irrelevant posts are tantamount to spamming. So be creative and contribute sensible and informative posts.
